There once was a glorious time when i was able to watch TV recordings, recorded with the TV-Server on my Playstation (delivered by the "PS3Media Server"). It even worked with HDTV streams quite nicely.
For some reason, along the way this stopped working for me because all recorded ts files report wrong run lengths. For example a 10 minute recording would show up with a total length of 15 hours. This of course wont pose a problem when playing the file at first, but when i try to skip, the player doesn't seem to find the right entry into the file, so it simply hangs there forever.
Now, i've given up on the MP project several times now, but i always come back because it once worked, and i dont get why it stopped working. Specially since i've tried to play tv recordings on my iPad or my iPhone (via AirVideo, a transcoder with a very nice frontend on the iOS side), i run into the very same problem. The wrongly reported run length screws with the possibility of skipping. I have tried with two different TV Cards (TT-Budget S3200 and DTV-DVB Mantis) with the same results.
I sadly dont remember which TV Server version last worked for me.. i've tested 1.0.2.0 and the latest 1.1.0.0 release.
So i guess it might have been the 1.0 or the 1.0.1 release that worked.
Since i have searched the forum high and low for someone with the same issue, and with no success. Is anyone out there with a similar problem? Is there a way to fix it? Please help me ..
