My issue started just this past week when I patched StreamedMP, although that was only coincidental. (I had posted the issue in the streamedmp subforum.)

Long and short of it: when I now click to play a trailer in MyTrailers or Showtimes plugins, I have to go back to the MyTV interface to watch the video. This was not the case when I first installed the Showtimes plugin a couple of weeks ago.

Although I hadn't done this before when it worked, in an attempt to rectify the situation last night I installed the Medialooks quicktime filter, quicktime alternative, and meida player classic and used the external player option in the mp configuration. no luck.

a provided a video of how showtimes now "works" on my website, MP_showtimes. when i click to play a trailer, an error message pops up that it cannot be played: but it's playing in the MyTV screen.

what silly option am i overlooking? the video should play on the showtimes or trailers screen.

Well, after much hair-pulling and getting absolutely nowhere (with a clean install of XP, MP, and SAF), I "solved" my problem by installing Windoze 7 and MP. All works well--knock on wood. Still baffles me as to why it worked for a bit, and then stopped working properly under XP.
