Playing XPMCE dvr-ms files from MediaPortal over network (2 Viewers)

Can MediaPortal play windows XPMCE dvr-ms files from over my LAN? For example, if I installed MP in the bedroom computer would it be able to stream the pre-recorded dvr-ms files from Windows XP Media Center? I'm assuming I could simply add the XPMCE as a video folder for MP to look in.

Any help would be appreciated.

Exactly what you said above is correct. Add your network share as a network folder in mp's config, movie section.
