If you look directly under your smiley face in your last post , you'll see a little grey button labelled THANKS!
It's right next to the QUOTE, H-QUOTE and REPLY buttons. It is small and a little hard to see but finding that and clicking it will end your confusion

So nope, not there. I've got the 'QUOTE', 'H-QUOTE' & 'REPLY' buttons, but nothing else! On my post I have an extra button 'EDIT', but no 'thanks' button.

it is M-Quote (Multi) not H

minimum postcount to be able to "thank" someone is "5"

Sometimes (pretty often) I happen to click in the thanks-button with my scrollwheel on the mouse and thanks a person's reply I wasn't meant to. Is there any way to "un-thank" a post? It doesn't really matter in any way if a person got one "thanks" too much or not... I'm just curious...

If I remember correctly there was an option to remove the "Thanks!", but not anymore...?

'M-Quote' - fair enough, my eyes are not what they used to be.
