    Hi professionals and expectant professionals,
Excuse me for the theme that has nothing to do with MediaPortal. But I'm with my little know at the end and I can very well imagine that here is someone who knows well with video codecs, can help. Where else than here in the forum..

    Situation:
I use as a game frontend: Hyperspin. The cool thing about this frontend is that I have for every Game always a video preview. (see supplement below). These videos are in the original downloaded as MP4 file. Since the beginning of the week I am owner of a new fanless HTPC to thin mini ITX base (see my system specification: BRIB3GEN). I used the built-in graphics card Intel HD4600.

    Problem:
Now if I go to a game in Hyperspin (here I should be able to see the preview video). The video is completely pixelated, green and not recognizable. WHILE the sound is played clean. But, outside of Hyperspin, with the VLC or Media Player, Mp4 play videos correct! According to which error sees this screenshot from?

    Attachements:
    - Picture: Hyperspin with video preview (for example)
    - Preview Video (Original MP4)
    - Picture: Hyperspin with video preview with distortion
    - Video which shows the distortion -> download here

I'm curious what you codecs professionals has to say .. If you have questions I will answer this very much.

    Environment:
-Windows 7 Ultimate standard setups with all updates
-with and without LAV Codec package
    -Intel Graphics: VER1018103412 (14.03.2014)

On the old HTPC (BRIB2GEN) with additional graphics card, the videos were working. I do not understand why it no longer works with the new system. It would be a lot to me if you can support me. I would be very happy!

so.. an old MediaPortal Bunny needs support!!

EDIT: Oups, maybe here is in the wrong place. Can someone move it to: Foren>Products>MediaPortal1>Support>Codecs, External Players? Thank you.

I have the same issue and trying to get it fixed as well. I heard that this can be fixed 2 ways.
    1. Your intel processor. For this you could get a aftermarket graphics card
    2. You could use the old hyperspin and have all the videos as .flv files

    Hello,

Is Hyperspin using your local browser to display the videos? If yes disable the hardware acceleration in the respective setting and try again. This is reported to work for the IE but doesn't apply to Chrome.

No, I am not - one of my kids is using it.

@bribbon , it would be nice if you posted a solution to your question in case you did find the answer yourself. This way it does not remain open and you can help others resolving similar issues.

    Disable hardware acceleration:
    - Open web browser
    - Go to youtube
    - Click on any video
    - When the video plays, quick as you can right-click anywhere in the video, select Settings
    - Uncheck "Enable hardware acceleration"

or use that brand-new tool which is able to disable/enable HA from your browsers:
    - Original Post
    - direct link to download the batch
keep in mind, that I've not tested this programm -> Use at your own risk!
