I'm trying to configure the plugin, but did not quite understand the logic of the work, ie changes to the database and thumbnails (add and delete) on the master is synchronized with the repository, and then cover those changes are synchronized with all clients. Here you are, did a new import without changing the master db beforehand.
According to the creation date of the music db it should be the current file but my client does not display the new albums.
Do I have to change something inside the music setup before using mpsync?
"Auto update db when shares change" shouldn't be checked, right?

RicoHTPC, can you try using the latest version as it seems it is not performing the manual synch for some reason and there are some changes for this type of synch in the latest version.

ajs, can you advise what do you want the plugin to do for you so that I can understand and maybe suggest a setup for you.

Also, if you have a master HTPC where you do the imports, you can have MPCleaner running only there as via MPSync can then do the deletes on the other clients, or you might have MPCleaner running on the other clients, say once every week, to delete irrelevant directory structures and maybe images that are not being catered for by MPSync.

I've installed the v 1.03 on my client but I think what I got was more instability than a working synchronization.
I tried to sync but the result was the same and then I tried to create the db's new (via synchronization) with an empty db folder on my client.
It took like five restarts of the sync (that's what I meant with the instabilities) but once it finished the sync completely
my client would now show all new albums.
Btw that's a thing I've experienced on my server as well. In that case I had to sync into an empty folder first before the sync onto my
client would work (it gave me then only some of my db files...).
But so far - success!
I will see hoiw the system behaves now after having synced initially.

For me, I think, and for many, it would be ideal to have all the HTPC odnopravny. That is, there is a common repository database and previews. There are clients that store. And any changes to the broadcast clients in the store and then to the other customers. Moreover, the priority status review, the percentage of review. The addition of new data in the database then it would be possible with any HTPC. Removing until it was possible to leave the so-called master, which was also launched MPCleaner.

I have tried copying the databases and thumbs manually first, but still no success.

EDIT: I have done some re-installing of the plugin and restoring backed-up DB files and all seems fine now! Keep up the good work!
