for sync robocopy (should be already in win7 under c:windows\system32) is another good one for syncing folders which was written by MS themselves. soemthing like this would eliminate massive bandwidth chunks being taken when a syncing the thumbs folder. You could even just set it up as a scheduled task within windows outside of this app altogether really as it is command line based and simple to use.

Syncing of the whole thumbs folder would be very nice :) I like to have these locally for speed when browsing through lists etc (backdrops and what not) so it would finish off nicely if it were possible! Nice idea for a database sync plugin though, love it.

Or trigger it silently when a database sync is fired off from inside the plugin :)

    Hi m3rcury,

Installed v0.0.0.3 and loaded MP Config. When I try to open CDB Config I get an exception:

System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

Apologies for that. A fix has been released as version 0.0.0.4 Beta.

I was getting the same error with v0.0.0.3, but v0.0.0.4 installs and loads ok, but the browse buttons do not open a window to select any location (had to paste it manually in the text field) and the button to set synchronisation direction does nothing. It is always stuck at both directions on both master and client

So until this gets fixed, it will have to stay deactivated :(

There is - and I can tell you why :) With a multiseat setup and MPExtended/WebMediaPortal installed on the TV server, I will not have databases and thumbs on the server. This is where your plugin comes in - for the databases, so far. Would be great to also have the option to syncronize thumbs to display in WebMediaPortal. Currently I have to do this manually.
