It's basically verifying your collection and figuring out whats online, whats not, what files have been deleted, what artwork is missing, stuff like that. If you have your movies on a network drive this process can take some time. Also it spends a little bit of time verifying the integrity of the database. In the future we may see what we can do to run some of these steps in the background.</blockquote>
