    Version I have probably arrived with or earlier MP1.3 and worked a treat upto 1.6 [don't know if pre-1.6 worked].

    Same problem, two systems and I see Loader is not part of build and can't find reference anywhere in forum/docs.

    Nothing logged in MePo, the 'stopped working' message has Problem Signature 09 as "System.BadImageFormatException" so my working assumption this is .Net 4 and the internal layout of content changed.

    Don't know if there's another work around - being able to update MP-TV & MovingPic while other half still watching was massive benefit - now have to kill MePo just to add TV show - I don't like auto scanning, anything NEW I set the genre {can't stand having one series in crime, thriller, drama, history, comedy etc etc ....:mad:

    Cheers - J.

    Who maintains this PluginConfigLoader? Where's the source? Why don't I have it in my MP installation dir in MP 1.6? Should it be there? Is is MP or 3rd party stuff?

    As I recall it's MP core but from sometime ago.

    Forgot - it's installed in
    c:/Program Files (x96)/Team MediaPortal/MediaPortal,
    as PluginConfigLoader.exe - as I have had to do complete clean reinstall at some point, it must have been in MP1.2 release at least?

    Hi Seco.

    I'm fairly sure [make that 80% - age & beer:whistle: it was part of dist at some time - as it's on my production unit and I know I had to reinstall OS and clean MePo install on MP1.2 or 1.3 release - and as it's in program space and not program data [which I backup & maintain mirror copy:-}

    Looking at code [and understanding just a bit], most of code of parsing input & error messages - gueess problem [unless it's syntaxy think between .Net 3 & 4 in calls} is around MediaPortal.GUI.Library.ISetupForm? As "using MediaPortal.GUI.Library;" seems to only none MS library included....

    Eitherway, it's a dead handy tool, if I have setup AND skills, I'd see if I could make it tick, but more at home with awk & perl than C#

    TTFN - JCMP.

    Found it - having trashed my test systems, full reinstall of all MePo elements - the PluginConfigLoader is part of MP-TVSeries - it's the 'run MP-TVSeries' options you get on 1st install.

    Thread closed - I'll to correct place.
