Hi,

today I was wondering if scrobbled entries (that were added to my playlist automatically) are played from drive or streamed from last.fm/audioscrobbler. So I thought if its played from drive I will find this in the database.

So I added an entry to my playlist, MP added 3 matching entries and after playing these I looked into the database for "Ozzy" singing "Pictures of Matchstick Men" with:

select strArtist, strAlbum, strTitle, iTimesPlayed, dateLastPlayed from tracks where strTitle like 'Picture%' and iTimesPlayed > 0

This results in:
| Ozzy Osbourne | Type O Negative |;Prince Of Darkness;Pictures Of Matchstick Men;1;01.01.0001 00:00:00

I could see that the track was played once (and it was the first time I played that song) but the dateLastPlayed confused me. If it was played, why is dateLastPlayed not changed?

You're right.
We're not updating this information in the database yet.
We added a lot of other fields as well, like the gain and musicbrainz, but not using it until now.
