When the video or TV is displayed in a window within MP, the picture is displayed correctly. When starting MP from display in normal font, I don’t get this blank screen problem.</p><p></p><p></p><p>After trying Phrak’s solution B (<a href="https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showpost.php?p=71755&postcount=29" target="_blank">https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showpost.php?p=71755&postcount=29</a> ) I compared the working MediaPortal.xml and the non-working one and came to the conclusion that in my case it was setting “exclusivemode” to “no” that fixed my problem.</p><p></p><p>Solution: Start MediaPortal Setup.</p><p>Under “General” uncheck “Using Exclusive DirectX mode – avoids tearing”.</p><p>Click “OK”</p><p></p><p>So that brings us back to the suggestion that the problem is in fact with DirectX and not MediaPortal.</p><p></p><p>If you have the “Blank screen” problem, please try this solution and let us know if it works for you.</p></blockquote><p></p>
