You could try two sound cards, and run mediaportal on a VM and on the host OS... don't know if it'd work, but worth a try

Well I am actually looking to be able to use MP to control both rooms from one menu...
I heard that MP2 might support several audio devices is this true?

I was attempting to do the same thing but found out it couldn't be done with the current version. The main issue is that there is no background playback of music which means you have to run multiple MP seats. I was able to set the output to a second sound card connected to my receiver's second zone but that was about it. Using the MP Pronto Pro plugin I was able to select from the playlist on a tablet in the kitchen and have it play on that zone but made that MP seat unusable for watching videos at the same time. I've used JR Media Center for multi-zone playback and might try to integrate it into MP instead of my old MainLobby setup.

I just use kroko's UPNP server plugin for MP. This allows me to make whatever audio files I want visible to a WiFi web radio in the bathroom, which is also capable of picking up files from the network (either from a UPNP server or from a WMP library) in addition to web radio stations. This seems to be a very economical solution, and avoids having to use WMP, which I hate.
