Is it possible to revert back to version 0.2.3.0 (with TV Server) from 1.0.0.0 by just installing 0.2.3.0 right over the top of version 1?

No, if you have issues with MP1RC, its far better to post a full bug report outlining your problem, so it can be fixed.

Remember, there will be no or very little support for older versions of MP anyway..

Use MPTestTool in your start menu to generate your problem and produce logs, please use tomorrows's svn release (available from homepage) as this already has a few bug fixes and will allow logs to be correctly produced.
