Perhaps a pop-up dialog shall be implemented that says something a long the line of "TV-service needs to be restarted to apply the new settings. Press cancel to restart service later or OK to restart the service now".

This behaviour (only restarting server, not the dialog) is already implemented for some other settings like changing the IP-adress or disable/enable a TV-card.
