MP's Internal DVD player was not compatible enough, so I decided to use the PowerDVD 7 that came with the drive.
It plays movies well enough (I had to disable XP's Autoplay for DVD movies), audio is fine, and it will play DVDs that the internal player won't. However, all the controls are PowerDVD (N=next chapter, P=previous chapter, Enter=Play, S=Stop) whereas MP uses F8=next chapter, F7=previous chapter, Space=Play, F2=Stop). Won't that cause a problem when I start using a MCE remote?
Also, now the only way to quit playback and return to the previous screen is Alt+F4. Not very elegant!
Is there a way for PowerDVD to be controlled by MP, so it uses the same keys?
Thanks for reading!
