PowerDVD Audio Decoder Reverts too 2-chanels (1 Viewer)

In the "Media Portal Configuration" under "Codecs and Render", I have a panel called "Power DVD Audio Decoder" I set my speaker environment to 6 speakers but every time I start Media Portal, it is reverted to 2 speakers. How do I fix this?

Do you have Windows setup to output 5.1 sound?

Have you selected the Power DVD Audio Decoder in the appropriate codec option (TV or Video)

Yes I have 5.1 surround sound set up in Windows and yes I have the correct codec selected.

It may be that (outside of Power DVD itself) the decoder will only allow two channel output, due to licencing restrictions.
