Download Version 1.4.0.1

This is the stable version of PowerScheduler++ designed for MediaPortal 1.4. There are legacy versions for MediaPortal 1.3 and MediaPortal 1.2.x on the PowerScheduler++ homepage.

There is also a special MP 1.4 version with PowerScheduler++ 1.4.0.1 integrated for testing in Area 51.

What is PowerScheduler++
The PowerScheduler++ plugin is a replacement for the PowerScheduler plugin that comes as part of MediaPortal. Compared to the original PowerScheduler plugin it provides easy configuration
  • In Plug&Play Mode all you have to do is to choose one of the four system profiles (HTPC, Desktop, Notebook, Server - the one fitting best is preselected) and set the desired sleep timeout. Everything else - including the Windows power options - is set automatically to some reasonable values by PowerScheduler++.
  • In Expert Mode all options are available for the experienced user. You can use the Expert Mode to see in detail, what the Plug&Play Mode would configure and change it, if required.
  • All Windows power settings are made automatically
  • Client settings are automatically matched to server configuration on single-seat scenarios
and lots of new features
  • Integrated scheduler for system reboot
  • Away mode is individually configurable for each standby handler (EPG, Network, Process, ...)
  • Reboot, Network, Processes and Active Shares standby / wakeup settings are now available also for standalone clients.
  • For the users experiencing problems with audio mute after wakeup or return from "Away mode" PowerScheduler++ now unmutes audio automatically if necessary.
  • External commands can be executed on entering and leaving away mode
For more information see the PowerScheduler++ Wiki Page.

What to do in case of errors
To give you support I need full logs. Make a reboot and start MP client with "Start -> All Programs -> Team MediaPortal -> Mediaportal -> MediaPortal Debug-Mode" and try to reproduce your problem. Then take the log files and upload them. Have a look here how to create logs.

AW: PowerScheduler++ 1.1.3.0 - Stable version for MediaPortal 1.1.3

So I got this errors with 1.1.3 stable Powerscheduler++.
The errors indicate a database problem, nothing special with PowerScheduler++.
Why does the original Powerscheduler runs without any errors and the modified version not ?:(

If you would send complete logs I would probably be able to tell you why.

Hi,

Now it works fine without any errors on my Single Seat System:D
- I do a fresh Win7 Install ( via Image ) and do not configure the original Powerscheduler ( TVServer/Client) - let both disabled
- then I install Powerscheduler++ 1.1.3.0
-reboot
-and at least i enable and configure Powerscheduler++ in TVServer and Mediaportalconfig

Thats all ! It works perfekt without any errors in errorlog

Best Regards and many Thanks for this wonderful Plugin:D

Re: PowerScheduler++ 1.1.3.0 - Stable version for MediaPortal 1.1.3

I would be grateful if someone could help with a little problem
I'm having with Powerscheduler++. The problem is that when a TV
recording is played back the system shuts down after 5 minutes
(the standby/wakeup setting). I'm using PS version 1.1.3.0
(after upgrading from 1.2.0.12 in case that was the cause of the
problem) and running MP 1.1.2 with the Sky EPG/UK enhancement
installed. The computer runs under Windows 7 Home Premium 64
bit. Windows power management is set to sleep after 30 mins.

The PS setting are:

General: HTPC

Standby/wakeup: Ticked - PS forces system to go to standby when
idle. Time set to 5 mins. Ticked - Wakeup system for various
events.

Processes: Ticked - No standby while MP client is not running.

The problem goes away if I untick the Standy/wakeup "PS forces
..." option but then the system will not go to sleep after a
recording is completed.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Logs attached created when watching playback of a recorded TV programme. The PC was manually stopped at the end. Many thanks.

Sorry. Forgot to enable Extensive Logging in PS++ and to include tv.log. Revised logs attached.
