    Hi,

i have fixed so many problems by searching the board but now i'm running into trouble...
I have a single seat setup and want to send my PC to standby/hibernate after some minutes of idle in the Home menu of MP. Using the TVserver Powerscheduler plugin it works very well... but i ONLY want the PC to be send to sleep if i'm inside Mediaportal and in idle on the Homescreen. So i want to use the clientside Powerscheduler plugin for hibernating... but this does not work...
    Here are my logs:

MediaPortal Pastebin - collaborative debugging tool

Maybe you have a hint for me
    Thx Thunder

The last time I tested Windows7 with MP, I was using 4TheRecord, which makes use of Windows own power settings.

I know that may not be the answer wanted, but it is a alternative, in the worst case scenario :) and it was a singleseat setup.

AW: Powerscheduler Client Standby does not work (Windows 7)

in powerscheduler config you have the possibilty to avoid standby when special processes are running. now you could think about a dummy-process in autostart which blocks standby. if you start your mp with a batchfile, that also kills the process, standby should be no longer blocked when mp is running.

another way is to use gmps. the feature you are requesting is not yet possible, but goersch, the developer of gmps is quite active and probably willing to implement it.

edit: I think the title of your post does not really fit to your request...

another edit: anyway when you use powerscheduler on a single seat system you will have to activate and configure identically tv-server and mp plugin.
