Hello Michael,

I'm sorry to say that, but both version do not work. I have no clue why...

    Hello Michael,

    thank you for your answer. I downloaded the installer for the plugin from the forum. Indeed, it's Version 1.2.3.4 (without "RC"). MPEI knows the RC version only.

    The problem remains the same. How do you unmute audio programmatically? Is there any kind of device specific handle that could become invalid when the device vanishes due to the transition to away mode?

    Below is a freshly generated log.

    What I do is to use NirCMD as resumescript - works just fine.

    Hello Michael,
    I've tried the PS++ version you told me, but it still does not work.

    @pur_berger
    Thank you for your hint. I've tried nircmd.exe as well. First it did not work either, but after I added a delay of 3 seconds before nircmd.exe is called to unmute audio, it really works!!! Perhaps something in connection with my TV? It seems to take some time to resume from standby. 3 seconds is exactly the time from pressing the power button of my mediacenter and the TV showing something...

    To both of you - thank you very much! :)

    @Michael
    If you like to, we can investigate the problem further to find a solution which works in this case.

    Thank you for helping me with this strange bug...
    I made a new debugging version of PS++ (does not fix the bug, but produces a lot of debugging output) and I would ask you to run it on your system and give me feedback with logs.

    Hello Michael,

    sorry for the late answer, I was just too busy. But now I've managed to install the plugin provided last... I don't understand why, but this build works! I've tried it 3 times and it just works... Normally I would say... good work, but I think that is not the desired result for a developer trying to reproduce a problem ;-)

    Well, better that the other way around...

    Could you please send me the logs, so that I can try to get an idea what is going right now?

    Thank you very much

    I just made a new version in which I removed the debugging outputs and I hope the bug is still gone. Could you please try this version, so that I can be sure that it is ok? If yes, I will realease it as new version 1.2.3.5.

    Thank you

    Michael
