PowerScheduler in MediaPortal isn't working in Windows 7. Tried to disable the firewall etc but it didn't help.

See the above specs for my system config, running the latest versions of everything and the attached logs for the error.

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:31457

Either the port is not opened or something is blocking access to it. Please check with "netstat -a -b" command what is the status of the 31457 port when MP fails to connect to the server side. Also make sure that server is up and running at that point.

In any case are you using "restart MediaPortal on resume" -hack? It is know to cause such side effects on random basis (and there is currently no way to solve this).

Thanks for tips. Netstat shows 31457 port occupied by TVServer only. Actually there are two PowerScheduler plugins, one is on TVServer side and one is MediaPortal side.
Error is generated by MediaPortal's one.
Manual is vague on this subject. Should i enable plugns on both sides or MP's plugin is one that is mentioned as "Old plugin" in manual and should be disabled? Or it supposed to be a client part for TVServers plugin? :)

is your tvserver identified by name oder IP? you should enable both - tvserver plugin and client plugin.

TVServer identified by name. As for MP plugin, seems like my version of MP 1.1 is too old and doesn't have right plugin included. I think i better wait for next release.

sigh, the problem was indeed that PowerScheduler wasn't loaded on the server side and thatfor couldn't connect to the server.
I didn't know it was trying to connect to the server side of the plugin, now I (and we all) do :)
