pre-record feature (3 Viewers)

Ray,
I deleted the file re-downloaded it and tried again and got the same results. I'm not sure why I would be the only person with this kind of error. It does not seem like a hardware problem. I set up my EGP by using this posting:

It records fine if I do not use the pre-record. I would like to get the pre-record to work just to be safe since sometimes a show may start 20 secs or so early. You asked if I use the auto download feature for EPG which I do not and I also tried a different codec as you suggested.
Below I tried recording "LazyTown" but the "News" was on before the show started.

This does seem to be a time issue.
Somewhere your system is out timewise, so when trying to record it is showing the equivalent of "program finished". saying that, why does it then record the correct recording for the exact time ?
Unless somebody wiser than me jumps onboard this post, i am lost/confused because it does not make sense.
Anyone else with any idea's on this one, quite unique !
