    Hi all,
is there a way to 'inject' the EPG data of a TV- recording into the recoding file, like an MP3- tag, so that it might survive conversion into other formats ?

I guess that MP does not support this, but perhaps there is a way to do this using external programs.

    Regards
    /Gerd

No program known for doing this, would be good if it ever could be added.

This is really only useful for one offs or documentries, as TV series and films are covered by the TVSeries and MyFilms plugins.

Currently we filter out the stream that contains the epg data which usually has the pid 0x12.
Would be no prob to include the stream in the recording but there are no players that i am aware that can parse DVB EIT data streams. Only DVB TV Apps can do that. So it's pretts useless.

    Thanks guys,
    guessed that.

My idea came from my handling with videos: When I find a TV recodring worth keeping for longer, I convert it to H.264/MP4 currently with Mediacoder.
Then its moved it from the TV - section to the Video section and then the former EPG data is gone. That's all.

Anyway thanks. Trying to figure out another solution.
