Ok, long story short: iMon remote reciever with Logitech harmony 550 pretending to be my HP Vista MCE remote is all configured and working great with one exception: iMon won't allow back to be programmed as Esc, so I changed MP's 'Previous Menu' key to Backspace (what iMon inputs from hitting MCE back button), which seems to behave slightly different than the untouched Esc assignment. With Esc, a popped up window will just close the window leaving the previously selected item still selected, however with it remapped to Backspace, instead of staying on the same item, it goes to the top item of the folder (the previous directory 'item'). Anyone have an idea how to resolve this so that when I'm done looking at the IMDB info of movie #329 I don't get jumped back to movie #0? I forsee great frustration from roomates and guests on a less than sober evening.

:D

Ok, so after playing with it and wh0tnot, I've come to the suggestion that the Backspace button is double shortcutted to Previous Menu and some sort of function that moves selection to the topmost item (not first, but top). Unfortunately, I can't seem to find this dupe causing all the trouble. :(

EDIT: Well nevermind now, I forgot how awesome my Harmony remote is and realized I am not confined to the MCE Back command and have now assigned MCE Mute to Esc. Now I can assign the remote's Exit button to MCE Mute which then gets translated to Esc by the iMon software and thus a properly behaving Previous Menu command for MP. Bass-ackwards, but this is what ya gotta do with crazy-azn hardware. Backspace, however, remains to be 'ghost shortcutted.'

Hi caustik_bt...
I have logitech Harmony 525 and I'm trying to let it work with MP (as u can read in my recent post). Can u detail me please:
1) What kind of device u told to Harmony Suite to work with MP? (u have set as MCE or as MediaPortal on Logitech database?)
2) How u disabled MCE to starts?
3) Do u use MPTrayMod? and IR Server? and HIP? or u use only iMon? have u a map file for iMon?
4) Other buttons works? Play? Pause? Stop? Subtitles?
5) Could u access directly to My Videos or My Music or My TV? they works as in MCE?

Ciao ;)
