Enabling 'HIGH' only sets the priority of MP to 'above normal'

the other selections are fine though.

thread priority is set to 'high' in the xml

SVN 16940, though this has been present for a while now.

    Fixed in svn17291

I'm not sure you really want to set it to high. Some system functions like drivers (disk access, network access, video) run at high and/or real-time priority. That's why Microsoft added the Above normal category to give software a boost above other software without impacting the rest of the system.

On single core single cpu systems that may be a necessity but on multi core multi cpu systems then the use of real time and high priority can make everything much smoother espeacialy when the cpu's are dual 500mhz or dual 1ghz p3.

Recent svn's ignore this setting and 'normal' is expressed no matter what is set in config.

The mp xml file shows correct priority so the core at start up is ignoring this.

    SVN 17258 logs attached.
