Hey,

as the topic says I have problems with viewing the channels Pro7, Sat1, Kabel1 and N24 (all from Pro7Sat1 Group). When I try to start timeshifting I get a "Unable to create/start graph" message. When I try to start the preview (in the tvserver config) I get a "Preview failed:UnableToStartGraph" message.
All other channels are working fine.
With DVBViewer I can watch the channels, that are not working in mp anymore. So I think the problem is not related to hardware or something.

Edit: I've done a fresh install of the RC1 Refresh, with a complete new DB etc.

Best regards,

GhoSe

did i get that right from the log, that these channels are scrambled?
means you use a CAM + smartcard.

could you check the "CAM limit" setting inside TV-Server Configuration please?

and all other channels are working?

Yeah you are right, the channels are scrambled (the german providers call it "Grundverschlüsselung" ;)). The camlimit is set to 1 and yes all other channels are working including pay-tv etc.
It's a bit crazy I think they have changed something in the way how they are broadcasting these channels (they are all from one big tv provider).

I would be very happy, if that get fixed, because pro7 is my favorite free tv chan and generally one of the best.

If I can contribute in some way, please tell me. I am also able to start a debug session if it is necessary, but without advice I do not have any idea where to start searching, because I'm not very familiar with the tv server code and how all this tv receiving stuff works in general ;)

    hum..... thats really weird....

could you please try to update
    • firedtv firmware
    • firedtv drivers
    • CAM firmware
    to the latest versions?

    :D

I did that already. I found a new firmware for my floppydtv (from 15/04/2008) but that unfortunately didn't help.

I had the same issue some days ago,
what helped was 2-3 times rescanning of alll channels, and a manual scan of the transponder sat1 is running on.
I think they changed something in their freq. Not sure though, but it works again.

    cheers

    Ok I got it!

Manually scanning the transponder fixed it. Seems like the frequency changed from 458Mhz to 330Mhz.

This new frequency needs to be added to the "KDG.dvbc" in "\TuningParameters" for the next version, I think:

    330000,256QAM,6900000

could you please replace your KDG.dvbc with the one i attached and try again?
    i have added "330000,256QAM,6900000" there.

if it works, i will commit it to svn and it is then part of RC2

After setting the freq. back to 458Mhz (on Pro7), I did a re-scan with the new KDG.dvbc and it got 1 new channel, which was Pro7 on the right freq.:

    ...
    3tp- 330000 Mod256Qam 6900:New:1 Updated:11
    ...

Thus it finds it correctly with that *.dvbc. I'm only wondering why he hasn't updated the channel, but added a new one. Maybe because the internal name (Channel.Name not Channel.DisplayName) is '37', because of combining with the Analog channel? But on my manual scan yesterday it became updated, instead of added new.

if the name matches (ProSieben), then it has to update the old channel with the new tuning info.
