    Hi All!

I've the problem that the embedded subititles of an MKV are not working. I've installed the Matroska Filter and the movie plays fine but without subtitles. The Subtitles are shown if i watch the movie outside MP with VLC Player.

I've then installed DirectVobSub and set the Autoload VSFilter to Yes. I've also enabled the option "Show Subtitles" in MP Configuration in the Videos Subtitles Tab.

The logs doesn't show any error...

Hope that someone could help me.

    Thanks for you answer!

I'm using plain Version 1.0, i guess in this case i can not use this fix, correct?
Any chance that this fix migrates to MP stable release?

Is there a workaround until then?

Well,i'm afraid not because MP 1.0.1 it's on "feature freeze" again so we must wait for 1.0.2. Maybe if you could test somehow the latest svn, and you could find is stable for you ,at that point you can use it in your HTPC with this excelent patch.I must say that i'm using svn 21688 everyday for Music,TV,Trailers,Movies,TV-series,Online Radio and is perfect.I'm not using recording very much and the stanby-wake up features.

You have more than one option, you can completely uninstall MP1 (be carefull this way u loose all your settings) or you can install over the previous version,in the installer you can choose to backup your current MP installation and you will find all your setting there (for tv server you have to manually export channels) or you can overwrite your files but MP will keep all your settings (i'm using this one when i'm testing and i don't want to configure plugins and MP over and over).

BTW if you backup all your MP folders you can revert to the previous version by restoring this folders again.

So nothing is stored in the Registry, i simply have to make a backup of my MP Server and Client folders?

I think only paths are stored in the registry. If you want you can manually backup your MP folders (installation folders and settings folders) and uninstall completely but after that it will take some time to configure MP again (u have to manualy restore databases, import channels, restore Thumbs, restore plugins and plugins settings)

EDIT: BTW before u try new snv, have tryed to put DirectVobSub (not autoloading) in post proccessing inside video configuration?
