I tried to play some streams in My Radio using this trick Internet TV Stations Playlist. Another tool fetches interesting streams like Uitzending gemist which features streams of tv shows that have been aired in the past.
The streams in this latter case are asf feeds and they play well in Windows Media Player but MP refuses to play them. Other video streams (asx) work fine. The log just sais that it cannot play the file. No futher info.
Here is an example of such a feed: http://cgi.omroep.nl/cgi-bin/streams?/tv/nos/journaal/bb.laatste.asf
