Hi, I was hoping someone can help with a problem I am having playing avi files I have created from ripping my DVD's. The files play fine in WMP but when I try to play them in MP I get audio only and a blank screen. I confirmed using GSpot that the correct Codecs are installed as is indicated by the filing playing correctly in WMP.

Any thought are appreciated.

Mick

Certainly sounds like a codec issue. What codec are you using for the AVI's?

As always, a copy of your logs will help us pin point the issue.

Hi StuNZ, yes I too thought it was a Codec but am confused by it playing perfectly in WMP11. Anyway the codec installed is Divx 5.0 (DX50). I have attached the log file and the Movie I tried to play was Kill Bill Volume 1. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks
