Hallo, I have two problems the the new version of your plugin.

    1. When I change a folder of an imported file (e.g. Futurama S06E08), the file gets two entries in the database. When I now delete the false entry in the configuration. after a restart of the configuration or when a start the MP, also the other entry is gone.

    and 2.

when I now want to import the file again it doesn't work.

The file ist not in the database because of problem 1.

When I start a local parsing test the file is found.

But when I now start the Import Wizard, the file is not found.

Maybe problem 2 only occurs after problem 1.
I'm hopping you having a solution for my two problems.

I'm thinking this post How to show something thats once deleted from database?" describes the same problem (No. 2).

Problem No. 2 is known and a manuell solution is published: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/my-tvseries-162/manual-solution-problems-re-importing-after-delete-85479/

But problem No. 1 is still active.

    Thanks

Please supply log files when you do the actions you describe.

The situation might be unique to your specific configuration, so without log files it will be impossible to figure out cause and provide a solution.

If the problem is database related, you need to provide Debug+SQL enabled log files, if the problem is related to something else, it will be enough to provide Debug enabled log files. In your case, please provide Debug+SQL files, for the most amount of information.

If the problem is purely related to MP-TVSeries, then the mp-tvseries.log file is enough, otherwise more log files such a mediaportal.log might be needed. ZIP them up and add them as attachment to your forum reply.

And please try to redo the problem on a fresh database. It is possible your database got corrupted, so do not use the (empty) option, but instead rename the mp-tvseries.db3 database file, and restart MP-TVSeries configuration (a new db3 file will be created).

Minimize your recreation test to the bare essentials, for example adjust your import path to "D:\TVSeries\Futurama\Season6\" instead of your normal "D:\TVSeries", so that it doesn't need to import dozens of episodes, but only a few. Afterall you are only doing a small test to recreate the problem in as few steps as possible, so reimporting dozens of episodes is not part of that.

After you did that, you can delete this test database by removing the mp-tvseries.db3 file and renaming back the file from before (this will restore everything you had).

I just wanted to chime in that I have a similar issue that does not bother me too much. When I delete a file from my computer (from windows explorer), it does not get removed from the TV Series database. If I select that episode to play, I get a file not found error. In mediaportal, I have to bring up the context menu and choose to delete it from the database.

Is there an option somewhere I am missing?

Like the original poster, if I rename a file (or folder) of an episode already in the database, I will get two entries in the database.

    thanks

I have found the logs and added to the first post.
The problem also occurs with a fresh database and reduced to one import folder with only eight files.

It would be a great feature when the plugin could make a rescan, if all entries a still active and/or available and deletes all entires which are not longer ready to play (e.g. renamed, deleted or moved).
