Problem streaming asx files (1 Viewer)

I have some trouble with streaming of Norwegian web-radio. I've downloaded this package: MEDIAPORTAL - free MediaCenter HTPC Software - Norwegian radio playlist

The pls that refers to an asx file do not work in mediaportal, but the link works perfectly well in regular media player. Below is a snippet from the error log file.

I hope someone can help with this issue, because I love the features of MediaPortal, but I need the streaming radio to work.

Hi! Glad to see that people still uses this old UL of mine
I'm using TVServer, and playing P4 Hits using xttp://www.nwrweb.com/player/asx/143.asx works like a charm here.

I can't say anything about the built in - perhaps you can try adding the above adress manually?

Some asx might be old, though ...

I've tried the different asx links in windows media player manually, and they all seem to work. It does not make any difference if I try to add the links as separate stations manually, or uses the pls files. Is there any other radio plugins that could bee used instead of the inbuilt one?

Hi!

OK, this is strange. I Installed Vista Ultimate on the same machine in a dual boot environment, and installed MediaPortal on a clean Vista Ultimate SP1. Suddenly the streaming of asx files works like a charm? Can anyone explain this? I'm happy running Vista Ultimate, so this did solve the problem, but I don't know why.
