Hello and good morning!

I tried to use MediaPortal with two identical video cards (Hauppauge WinTV HVR 900H).

Mediaportal is running fine when using one card. After finishing those tests I tried to implement the second card. First this seems not to be a problem but ...

- The second tuner was found without any problem
- It seems possible to talk to it
- When searching the channels TV-Server found none
- While searching the channels TV-Server sometimes shows definitely an input
(strength and quality bars will be set)
- The second (old) one card seems to be working but no TV will be shown, no
recording placed.
- It doesn't matter if both tuner cards are on the same USB-bus or on two
different ones (I puted an additional card into my computer)

If any body has an idea it would be a great help!

I have a Hauppauge WinTVR-HVR 900H and can not seem to get this to work with Analogue Cable, will not find any channels. I installed WinTV from Hauppauge and it scanned the channels fine.

Read around a lot, and most posts in the forum or wiki etc, seems to point to the old version of Mediaportal. Anyone successfully running Mediaportal with this USB TV thingy?

It seemes like no one has found a solution to Hauppauge hvr-900h (analogue)??? I think I have read all threads about it, but no luck???

i have de latest driver and wintv 7 working ....but wen i try to find the tv card in mp configuarion ....isnt listed.

what can i do to MP recognice my hvr 900 H??????

Hello the_krown!

Sorry the new drivers are working without any problem on my both platforms.

Possibly one difference: I installed only the drivers, not the win--tv application.

Can you write a little bit more ....

before all...im spanish and mi englis is poor and veri limited....

afther that ill try to explain...


i use MP1.0.1 ..and i have an wintv-hvr 900h; i tryed with my original drivers version (old verion) and with newest (com with wintv7)

also i tried modifing (?????) the xmf file (where are the cards definition)



...but always the same...when i go to configure tv settings...my card isnt listed, so i cant choose any card



im sure im doing something bad...but WHAT???
