Hello,

i have an interesting problem. Love MP, everything is working just as it should except for one problem.

2 of my DVB-T channels. I scan them with manually adding frequency. Report says that it found 8 channels, but only two are displayed.

This is the problem; in the proximity of my house there are 4 transmittors, all using the same frequency (690 MHz), so when I scan that frequency MP finds that 2 ch from all available transmittors, but only lets me save 2, and it seems that those two are from the weakest transmittor, so my signal is bad.

My question is: can i manually choose which one of overlapping channels i want to save?

Any input is highly appreciated.

Regards,

Tomislav

    Hi Tomislav

If they're all on the same frequency and have exactly the same tuning details then there is nothing you can do. However, there is a possibility that MP has created multiple tuning details within each channel. To check that:

    1. Open TV Server configuration.
    2. Go to the TV Channels section.
    3. Find one of the channels that you have the problem with.
    4. Click edit.

If you see multiple tuning details listed then MP has grouped the sources into the single channel. If you know the parameters (NetworkId, TransportId, and ServiceId - ONID, TSID, SID) for the strongest source then you can delete the other weaker sources.
