Problem with automount (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I'm using version 0.2 RC2 and I have a problem with the Daemon tools automount.

When i click an ISO file the file gets mounted in Daemon tools, but the movie doesn't play in the internal MP player. Instead the autoplay feature of that drive kicks in and starts an external player.

It doesn't matter if I unceck the "use external player" check box in setup.

Any suggestions??

Sounds like you have an AutoPlay problem. You will have to disable windows Autoplay, this can be achieved a few ways but TweakXP is probably the easiest.

    I'll try that. Thanks!

Now I've tried that and then nothing happens.

The layer that says "Loading video..." is showing for a while, but then nothing. :-(

    Any suggestions?

Nobody has a clue about this?

I'll download the "Software Support Template".

I had a similar problem, untill i discovered that there is a huge difference between deamon tools 4.XXX and 3.XXX

MediaPortal works only with DeamonTools 3.XXX

You probably working with a version 4 (as i did) Uninstall that version and download the last version 3.

    It worked for me!

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.

The thing is that I downloaded DaemonTools 4 from the MP web site...

Sadly the change to Daemon Tools 3 did nothing... :-(

What settings do you have for autoplay?

The "use external player" checkbox for the DVD player settings in MP doesn't do anything. If I have autoplay disabled then nothing happens. If I have autoplay enabled then the selected autoplay-app is launched.

    Synopsis::

I have enabled the Daemon Tools integration and I have tried both 3.47 and 4.

When I select a DVD iso file in "My Movies" then the iso file is mounted but the only thing that happens next depends on my autoplay settings for the drive.

If I have autoplay disabled then nothing happens. If I have autoplay enabled then the selected application (eg Power DVD) is launched as an external player.

The checkbox "use external player" in MP setup (for DVD) does nothing that I can see. It all depends on my autoplay settings.

I would of course like the DVD iso file to play internally in MP.
