It seems to be a bug with the very latest SVN when going to my music, no files in folders :

10/06/2006 23:08:47 OnMessage exception:confused:ystem.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'MediaPortal.Dialogs.GUIDialogProgress' to type 'MediaPortal.Dialogs.GUIDialogProgress'.
    at MediaPortal.GUI.Music.GUIMusicFiles.OnRetrieveMusicInfo(List`1& items)
    at MediaPortal.GUI.Music.GUIMusicFiles.LoadDirectory(String strNewDirectory)
    at MediaPortal.GUI.Music.GUIMusicFiles.OnClick(Int32 iItem)
at MediaPortal.GUI.Music.GUIMusicBaseWindow.OnClicked(Int32 controlId, GUIControl control, ActionType actionType)
at MediaPortal.GUI.Music.GUIMusicFiles.OnClicked(Int32 controlId, GUIControl control, ActionType actionType)
    at MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUIWindow.OnMessage(GUIMessage message)

And the meteo module doesn't work too (? instead of meteo informations).
If I go in meteo module, go back in home screen, close mp, mp stays in processus list task, I must kill it then, no log for that.
edit : and no action if trying to click on power screen button.

having problems with newest SVN too.

    1) MCE remote problems
    2) can't record anymore, when clicking on record on MCe, or record on TVhomescreen nothing happens. same for recording button in MEPG details view
    3) can't play previous recordings anymore... very weird. downgrading doesn't work.

    i will posts logs and everything else tomorrow cause it's already too late over here in germany... (-;

Most likely both of you missed a changelog warning:

    "Reset your remote mapping!"

    Hi,
    Code:
10/06/2006 23:08:47 OnMessage exception:System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'MediaPortal.Dialogs.GUIDialogProgress' to type 'MediaPortal.Dialogs.GUIDialogProgress'.
This is clearly an indication of a screwed up MP install. I bet some files weren't overwritten while you were updating to the latest public SVN snapshot.

    1) MCE remote problems
My MCE remote and keyboard are working fine with this snapshot.

    2) can't record anymore...
Record button on MCE remote works fine for fullscreen TV. Record button works fine in TV guide for current running shows and upcoming shows.

    3) can't play previous recordings anymore...
I haven't got any previous recordings on disk anymore, but the just-recorded show plays back fine.

I don't mean to bitch, but IMHO you're jumping into conclusions too soon thinking these are bugs and thus posting them in the bugs section. And - depending on what RC/SVN version level you come from - nothing really related to these issues has been changed lately?

    Kind regards,
    Michel

Well, tried 2 others times with 20h06 SVN and 1h01 SVN from 06-11-2006.
    This problem still exist.
My latest version was 15h54 and worked fine.
Reading this : https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?t=16088 will prove there is no problem for mapping, I can't reset.
And you said I post in a wrong section, if this is true, I apologise but tell me where should I post this problem ?
I only want to help, if I ennoy you, I will stop posting.
    Bests regards.
Edit : You cant close this post, the problem was only with SVN from 20H06.
The problem with SVN 1h01 was only because I put it over the 20h06, over the RC4 initial, it's OK.
