Problem with MCE remote (1 Viewer)

I cannot get the remote control's special keys to function. The regular keys, which are recognized in Windows, work fine. List of keys with no function:

Any suggestions as to how I can get these keys to function?

You did enable it in MP's config? And you are not using XP home?

I've enabled it under remote as an MCE remote ("Use Microsoft MCE remote or keyboard"), and I'm using XP Professional with SP2. Should I try with extended logging as well?

Well, I doubt that this is a MediaPortal problem, so a log would not bring much. But it can't harm to post one, just in case.
