Problem with My Video and BBC iplayer files (2 Viewers)

Hello,
I installed the latests version of the MediaPortal on my PC which is great and generally very impressed by its capabilities. However, I am a great fan of the BBC iplayer function and don't get the files to play in My Video.

I download the files from BBC and can watch them in Windows Media Player 11 without any problems.

In MediaPlayer mode, I can see the files in the directory but when try to play them nothing happens. All other videos on the computer works perfect including Div-X, Sony HandyCam recordings and Hauppage 350 TV card recordings.

Is this normal? anyone manged to get BBC's iplayer files working with MediaPortal?

I guess it is because the files are wrapped in DRM. This layer of security/restriction is probably whats causing the files not to play.

I have not tried yet - I tend to just watch using the streaming flash player on the website - looks OK fullscreen on my TV.

The thing with the live streaming is that you need a good internet connection and reliable one... Using the cheapest BT broadband service and WLAN in g mode coupled with three thick walls...

I just read somewhere that the MediaPortal should be able to play the same as I can play on WMP 11?

If not, is it possible to get WMP 11 through MediaPortal in a form of plug-in so one has the possibility to use the remote controll as well as limiting swapping between softwares...

any thoughts?
