Here is my test method from the last log file I Posted.

 

1) Start MP in debug mode.

2) change channel to AETV - no sound.

3) Using my WMC compatible remote I press "Channel +" to go up a channel.

4) I then verify that I have sound.

5) I press "Channel -" to go down a channel, back to AETV - no sound.

6) Repeat changing channels away & then back to AETV to see if I can ever get sound.

 

BTW: The AETV channel is between TCM & TBS on my channel list.

 

Each time I change to AETV channel from another channel I get an instant of sound, then silence. If there is a preferred testing method let me know. Perhaps run in debug, change channel to AETV & let is sit for an hour?
