Problem with OSD (1 Viewer)

Memory: 2gig

Video Card: ATI 5450

Does anyone else have issues when using MP on a display running at 1920x1080? I have 4 client machines, all run at varying resolutions and only have issues on 1 of them. Quite often I'm unable to bring up the OSD while watching any video (y on the keyboard or the info button on my remote), whether it's live TV (SD/mpeg2 and HD/h.264), AVI or MKV etc. This is a bit of a problem as it means I can't switch subtitles on or off sometimes. I've always had this particular issue on this machine whether it was running on XP or now Windows 7. It's had a graphics card replacement not long ago and still the issue persists. It also doesn't seem to matter which skin I use, sometimes the OSD will appear, sometimes it won't.

I will post some logs once I'm home, but was just wondering in the meantime if any one had experienced the same problem.

Here's the error log I get, you can see that every time I press the info button it invokes an error. Edit, I think I've fixed this by changing subtitle settings.

I fixed it by changing the settings for subtitles in the configuration app.

I can't remember exactly, I think I changed the option for which subtitle renderer or engine was being used. I don't have access to a machine with MP installed at the moment to check exactly.
