problem with rc4 and daemon tools (1 Viewer)

hi

since i have installed rc4 i also have a problem with daemon (since i also did a reinstall of vista at the same time i am not 100% sure rc4 is the problem)

When i start a movie ater the first play it only mounts it and it only starts the movie after pushing play a second time.

I tried several daemon versions (4.10,4.12 and the newest version)

anyone have a solution ?

Yes, I am experiencing the exact same issue. My search found this post so I am posting here instead of creating a new thread.

I have tried 2 different versions of daemon tools and both versions do it. I am pretty sure (about 98%) that I have it configured like i did before that worked.

first time i select a video, it mounts it but does not play it. selecting it again plays it. if I stop the movie (shich goes back to the "videos" screen, and select that same movie again, it plays it the first time. but if I select a different movie, I have to select it twice before it will play.

I will post my logs in a few minutes

yes its exactly like you describe it. I tried 4 different deamon tools versions and i exactly configured it like i hads it in rc3.

Seems to me a rc4 problem. Should we psot this in an rc4 bugs topic ?

Do you have Autostart enabled in Daemon Options? Do you have Windows Autoplay enabled on the virtual drive?

i tried it with autostart enabled and disabled in daemon

autoplay on the virtual drive is disabled (tried it with enabled as well but then when i press the play button on a movie the message disk inserted pops up)

Autoplay is enabled it daemon tools for me as well. autoplay for windows neverhad to be on before (and I hate it anyway because it is always asking questions)
