Hello,
I have been reading a lot but I couldn`t find a solution.... I hope this is the right place for this kind of question.
Graphic Card: ATI HD 4850
My primary screen is a: LG LCD 37"
Secondary Screen: Standard 19" PC-Monitor
System: Vista
I have the following set-up: LG with Medaportal; PC-Screen: Normal desktop with taskbar...
Thing is: If I start the computer and my TV is off, I have no problem. Auto Login as User, Mediaportal starts on primary screen (LG), and I can work on my second screen.... but as soon as I turn the TV on all my settings are gone (LG identification as new added screen).
Windows sets my PC-Monitor as standart and primary, my LG becomes secondary and my Mediaportal crashes.
So my TV always has to be "on" whan I start my computer, and always has to stay "on" or I will get the above problem.
So my question is: Is there a way to let Vista belive/think that the monitor is always on? Or force Vista to keep my settings?
Thanks,
Tobias
