I upgraded to TV server RC3 tonight, I also upgraded the client to MP rc3 after a full uninstall of the old version.
Somehow its not working like it is supposed to,
when I launch the MP rc3 as a normal user (vista 32) it still says I am using MP 0.2.2.0 instead of RC3.
When I load it as administrator it shows RC3 in the loading screen, in both cases the application behaves like RC3 with it new skin etc.
Now back to the server problem: When I luanch the MP rc3 client on the same PC as the TV server it all works well, I can see tv etc
But using a pc somewhere else on the network it is not. The interesting thing is that the Guide and all is working fine, but as soon as the stream should start it freezes.
I can not see any reason why this is, and it was working in the past on 0.2.2.0, but I am not sure when it stopped working.
Maybe its a rights issue, but I just cant get my finger behind this.
It also seems to use different user settings depending on if I run with or withour administrator...
please help.
