Hi. So installed MPExtended and Ampdroid on my Nexus 7. After manually opening the windows firewall (I opened both The port explained in the documentation on the wiki and port 8017) I set up MPExtended.
The results where as follows..
I can goto power modes in Ampdroid and start media portal ok.
I can browse my tvseries in Ampdroid ok.
I can stream live TV.
but the remote control doesn't work and play on pc doesn't work. I also notice the scan for clients doesn't work (no clients are ever listed so I input manually).
Is opening MePo part of wifiremote?! because if it is, why does some things work and some not?
Incidentally all my media is on a WHS server and none of it will stream. I see the note saying to setup as a different user but how is this achieved? Maybe it is related?
