PVR Scheduler requires registration only, no requirement to pay

Quite correct, but STSC funds his whole project, including all overheads, would prefer he was based here, but he has chosen to support multiple projects, and is always a welcome guest here.

Personally for the Windows integration alone, worth the donation for me.

What happens if you try to watch the recording in My Movies?

The same thing, Mediaportal don't respond anymore (i must to reset PC).
The recording play with WMP11 work fine.

Btw, with PVR scheduler do you mean the one you have to pay for(3'rd party plugin)?

yes, 5 euro by donation.

I try to reinstall driver v.4 instead 5.0.0.6 (Technotrend S2-3200 driver), without results.
Ffdshow can be a problem??? (i use it like post-processor in the TV section too).

Hi,
Try to disable post processing & see if it's better, you can also try to use BlueTwo as skin & disable some of the plugins to see if one of they causes this issue.
Btw what graphic card do you use?

I don't know if this can be the same problems, but i'm not be able to use TVServer.
I tray to use TVserver a lot of time, the installation is OK, the connection to the database OK, the scan of sat channel OK (1500 channels found about), but TV don't work (error message: "Impossible to start timeshift - any video/sound found").

Only logs will tell whats happening, could be missing codecs(not registered properly etc) or it could be the same as you have from before or something complete else

FOUND THE ERROR

Is Cyberlink mpeg codec.
Mediaportal use codecs setting on TV section to play recording file.
I use Cyberlink to live TV.
But the file generated is dvr-ms and Ciberlink don't support it (i thinks).

Why MP use TV setting codecs instead movie setting codecs for recoring file??

It does support dvr-ms files.

Might be worthwhile running filmerit, just to see if there are any codec errors.

OK i try with filmerit too.

But if i change TV codec (and i put nvidia or MPV or DScaler or other instead Cyberlink) all work fine, i can play TV recordered, to see Live TV and use timeshifting and register live TV. I can see dvr-ms file from MyVideos too.
If i set ciberlynk don't work anymore.

An other question: i removed a TV recordered file to MyMovies from MyTV. Why Mediaportal use TV codec to reproduce it instead of Movie codec??

Hi,
It uses that codecs because it is the same as the tv stream, i don't think that will change for some time now, but i could be wrong

Any problem with Cyberlink codec (filmerit docet )
Maybe my version of Cyberlink codec is not FULL version (i found it in bundle with TT S2-3200).
Or maybe a Mediaportal bug??

Now with nvidia codec instead Cyberlink codec all work fine (personally i prefer Cyberlink quality, ....... but is not important)
