    Hello,

this weekend I updated my HTPC from Vista 32 to Windows 7 64bit. In this process I inserted a TV Card, a TBS6981.
    I'm using SAF 605.
My Problem is the live-tv. If I switch a channel most of the time the screen goes black for about 3seconds after that I see the old channel and a second later it then switches the channel. Sometimes I just se a frozen picture from the old channel and hear the sound of the new one.

On my previous install, I used a multiseat setup but now I wanted to go back to single seat.

To analyze the problem I changed the tv-server configuration back from my localhost to my server (this one has a TerraTec Sinergy installed) and tried the channel zapping again. Now it is working...So it is eather something wrong with the tv-server installation or the tv-card and it's drivers (used the latest one which are online available).

I added the logs. It would be nice if someone could have a look into it. It would drive me crazy to just waste 100bugs on the new tv-card...

Zapping times are not very fast with the TBS. You should definitely use the driver version 2.0.0.18 which has the fastest switching times. Maybe this helps...

I'll try these drivers. But my problem is not only the slow zapping time. It's more the fact that the screens after it goes black it shows than the old channel with the new channels sound. Sometimes that's it. The screen freezes with the frozen picture of the last channel. I need to stop live tv and start it again.

But I would try it with other drivers. Do you know where I can get them. On the TBS site I can only download the latest ones.

I have a similar problem sometimes, too. Though more in that way that the screen goes black and then the old channel is shown for a few seconds before the new channel is tuned. But MP does not crash. I thought it only happens if the tuning of the new channel takes too long.

    I attached the driver.

If you are using MP 1.2.2, use the TsReader.ax from -> here <- (there was a bug which can give black screens after channel changes)

The frozen picture problem (for a few seconds after a channel change) is basically because the new channel stream is slow in arriving/starting up (as Zoidberg77 suggests).

Hi again. Just wanted to say that switching channels is now mutch better with the new drivers.
I also changed the TSReader. It's looking good now
