Problems with & characters in folder names (1 Viewer)

Hi,

The path to "My Pictures" folder is as follows:

"c:\Documents and Settings\Pete & Sarah\My Documents"

Release 0.1.3.0 reads the folder contents correctly. The 0.2 RC2 Relase will not read the folder contents. It is probably down to the & character not being read correctly.

Could you please verify this assumption by changing the "&" to "and"...?

OK,

I didnt want to rename my system folders but I created a new folder called "A & B" and placed "my music" and "my pictures" under it. Media Portal would not read the folders at all.

When I renamed the "A & B" folder to "A and B" and reset up Media Portal it then worked.

I hit upon the same bug with a music folder of mine. When you later go back into Configuration the ampersand in the folder's name is replaced with the html equivalent, i.e. &amp. I could live with that, but obviously MP trips over it ..
