Hi All,
i had the current stable version (0.220) of mediaportal working wine with mytvseries. I upgraded to 0.230 because I got a HDTV tuner. had some problems with HDTV tuner so I uninstalled and reinstalled. Had problems with mytvseries so upograded that. Still I am having problems with mytversies. As soon as I select the plugin, i get the screen shown in the attached picture. I get this with every skin consistantly. I have tried deleting the cache folders, recopying the xml file and the media dir to the skins folder, and reinstalling the skin. Does anyone have advice on how to fix this?
:D

Looks to me like it crashes upon intialization before it even gets to do anything, so there should be an exception in the log.

Jameson, I get the same thing, although not always but very often. When I get home from work today I will check my logs to follow up on Inker's solution and see if there's any hints in there.
I also believe that this might be because of the problems that the plugin autor mentioned with the release version
"1.2.9something". I am assuming that the upcoming 1.3 version wil fix this.

i've had the very same issue in quite different testbed (upgrading from RC3 to final, in RC3 everything was perfect)
after trying to uninstall / reinstall plugin i was able to fix it with:

    1) cleaning of directory Cache under C:\...\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal
    2) deleting TVSeriesDatabase (and if present its journal file) under C:\..\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Database
    3) a new running of the configuration of the plugin, and a new import

now my tv series is again up and running flawlessy
    hope it helps
    cheers

Thanks for the replies everyone! I forgot about the log files  Seems like I was getting the loadfacade error:
The 'LoadFacade' function has generated an error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I tried rebuilding my database but it did not help me. What I did was look in my plugins directory again and notice that in the commotion, I had "re-downgraded" the plugin back to 1.0.0.0 version. When I updated it back to 1.2.9.0, it works now so i am guessing it was possible an incompatibility between the skin xml file and plugin version?

    Thanks again!
