Problems with Remote / IR Receiver (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I've got a Technisat IR remote and receiver that seems to work fine until I load MediaPortal. It not only stops working with MP but also stops working after I shutdown MP.

It is a USB IR receiver

Hi coeus,

I don't have this remote but I would try the manufacturer's website for updated drivers and I'd also do the same for drivers for your motherboard.
It sounds like the USB side of things is dying for some reason when Mediaportal loads.
Do any other USB devices cease to function after MP has been run?

thanks for the reply.

I have the latest motherboard drivers and other USB devices still work when MP loads. For some reason the technisat USB remote stops responding though. I've tried different usb ports and same issue. The remote works fine before MP starts up.

EXCEPT it's not Serial it's USB.
