Great your answer my question that i just posted lol.I think it's hardcoded on MP side (10 seconds) but if VLC start directly maybe something on firewall slowdown inet connection ?Did you try to disable AV / Firewall for example ?Like it's working for me, BASS DLL should be ok so it's more something of network related but looks weird.
