Sorry for not filling in all details, I filled in all that I could find.

First of all, thank you so much for a wonderful program. It's awesome.
So i followed the guide I found online what codecs should be installed and how i should configure MediaPortal and everything is great except that the sound dissappears and "lag" (do you say lag?) every now and then. I have tried to narrow down what could be wrong and this is what I've tested:

Uninstalled AC3player. Put the file on the computer and played it in VLC but I have the same problem there (so it's not MediaPortal itself and it's not the NAS HDD) It's either the HDMI connection to the TV or the codecs installed. I suck at codecs so I don't know how to mixture with them.

It would be wonderful to get some ideas from you guys. I searchd the forum before I posted this and found some problems with the sound but none of them fit in on my problem.

Thanks so much in advance!

/Jacob
