TV-Server Version: MediaPortal Version: 0.22.0 MediaPortal Skin: blue Windows Version: XP Professional SP2 CPU Type: Pentium 4 1.8GHz HDD: 250GB Memory: 1.5GB RDRAM Motherboard: Dell Motherboard Chipset: Motherboard Bios: Video Card: NVidia GXForce 32MB Video Card Driver: Sound Card: Sound Card AC3: Sound Card Driver: Soundblaster Live 1. TV Card: HDHomeRun 1. TV Card Type: ATSC 1. TV Card Driver: BDA 2. TV Card: 2. TV Card Type: 2. TV Card Driver: 3. TV Card: 3. TV Card Type: 3. TV Card Driver: 4. TV Card: 4. TV Card Type: 4. TV Card Driver: MPEG2 Video Codec: MPEG2 Audio Codec: Satelite/CableTV Provider: OTA Antenna HTPC Case: Cooling: Power Supply: Remote: TV: TV - HTPC Connection: I use a HDHomeRun tuner and have got most PVR software (BeyondTV, SageTV, GBPVR, etc.) to tune in all the channels I'm supposed to get here. However Media Portal (open source) fails to tune in the PBS channels in San Francisco at all. The signal strength is very high and I've even tried a powered signal booster in the antenna line. Any ideas on what's going on and how to fix it? As a last resort, I'm manually trying to add the PBS (KQED, etc.) channels to Media Portal but am running into problems. Media Portal asks me for the following sorts of info and I have no idea where to get this from: Physical Channel number: (I guess that would be DT-30 for KQED) Major Channel Minor Channel Transport ID Carrier frequency SYmbolrate InnerFEC Modulation: (I guess this would be 8vsb) Audio PID Video PID AC3 PID etc etc. Any help or ideas? Thanks, Lalith
